PREPARATORY LESSONS FOR CAMBRIDGE FCE i CAE EXAMINATIONS

The Cambridge FCE Examination (First Certificate in English) and the Cambridge CAE Examination (Certificate in Advanced English) are the most well-known British examinations intended for persons from outside Great Britain. The First Certificate in English is widely accepted in commerce, industry and by the educational institutions in Great Britain and overseas as evidence for the skills in using the English language for typical, general communication purposes. The Cambridge FCE Examination has been designed for persons who have the ability to use the English language at the B2 (upper intermediate) level described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and adopted by the Council of Europe.

The Cambridge CAE Examination has been designed for persons who are required to use the English language at an advanced level at work or to commence university studies conducted in this language. The Certificate in Advanced English is widely accepted in commerce, industry and by the majority of British universities as corresponding to the enrolment requirements. This exam is taken by persons who use the English language at the C1 (advanced) level described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and adopted by the Council of Europe.
